Family Therapy
Family therapy is a form of counselling that focuses on improving relationships, communication, and behaviours within the family unit. These sessions aim to address conflicts, improve understanding, and strengthen family bonds, often by identifying and modifying unhealthy interaction patterns. Therapists guide families through discussions, teach new skills, and foster a supportive environment that promotes growth and healing.
At the initial session, I will meet ONLY with the parents to gather information about your family challenges, your parenting style, to evaluate and assess how we will work as well as the frequency.
A key focus is on enhancing communication skills, helping family members express themselves clearly and listen to each other with empathy.
Family therapy aims to foster a deeper understanding of each family member's perspective and experiences.
Our main priority is to create a setting in which you feel comfortable, understood and free to express yourself.
We use various methods to tailor our services to your needs. We don't use the "ONE SIZE FOR ALL" method.
